Beauty and harmony is what I always adored in art.
I'm an artist, graduated at the prestigious Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts and my artworks have already been exhibited in the USA, China, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, France, Italy and Poland.
After graduating, I had been painting for pleasure for a few years. Currently I paint on canvas one-off artworks, using mainly acrylic paints.
My body of works is combination of the figurative, geometric abstraction and rigorous aesthetics. Geometry brings peace and order, where there is chaos. Abstraction is a natural complement to geometry, which allows me to deliberately disturb proportions in my art to highlight the emotions I want to express.
Beauty and harmony is what I always adored in art. There are many artists, who I look up to, but my favorites are Modigliani and Klimt and from Polish artist - Wroblewski and Nowosielski.
„There is something ‘disturbing’ about Luk’s artworks, something that similarly to the genius ‘California Dreaming’ series by David Hockney, the godfather of British Pop Art, cannot be ‘read’ literally. I remember very well that when I saw Luks paintings for the first time I was sure that I am dealing with a visionary artist who isn’t afraid to speak with metaphors and who has recognized ‘the weak points’ of the modern world and effortlessly plays with it. Luk’s power to feel, and in great measure, to express, will live the impact on the face of contemporary Art.” BigArtTheory.com, October 2017
